This Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) and guidance is for those people who are involved in the delivery and unloading of petrol at filling stations, including petrol station site operators, road tanker operators, road tanker drivers and the authorities who have responsibility for enforcement of DSEAR at petrol filling stations.

This edition brings the document up to date with regulatory and other changes. The guidance has been simplified to clarify what is already required in law by the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002 (DSEAR) in relation to petrol unloading operations.
