Home Office Analysis and Insight (HOAI) commissioned Ipsos UK in 2024 to conduct a nationally representative quantitative survey with the UK public to assess awareness and experience of ransomware, perception of the threat of ransomware within the UK, and attitudes towards UK businesses reporting attacks and paying ransoms.
