Right Care, Right Person

When people are in mental health crisis, they need timely access to support that is compassionate and meets their needs. Right Care, Right Person (RCRP) is designed to ensure that people of all ages, who have health and/or social care needs, are responded to by the right person, with the right skills, training and experience to best meet their needs. RCRP applies to those with mental health, and other health and social care, needs. In most circumstances, support will be provided by health and social care services.

This evaluation was conducted to understand how RCRP is being implemented and to share findings to aid ongoing implementation, by analysing evidence from a sample of police forces, integrated care boards (ICBs) and local authorities (LAs) across England.
