In 2009 HSE has published a new, simplified version of the Health and Safety Law Poster. It tells workers what they and their employers need to do in simple terms, using numbered lists of basic points. As an employer, you are required by law to either display the HSE-approved poster or to provide each of your workers with the equivalent 'leaflet'.

The law has been changed ‑ for the new poster you don't have to add contact details of your enforcing authority and HSE's Employment Medical Advisory Service. You can add details of any employee safety representatives or other health and safety contacts, but this is not compulsory.

Printed on biodegradable material with hologram for additional security.

The Accident Book is a valuable document that organisations can use to record accident information. It can be used to record details of injuries from accidents at work that employers must report under the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR).
Please note that the law changed on 6 April 2012. If a worker sustains an occupational injury resulting from an accident, their injury should be reported if they are incapacitated for more than seven days. There is no longer a requirement to report occupational injuries that result in more than three days of incapacitation, but you must still keep a record of such injuries.
Note on the new edition
Both 2012 and 2018 versions are valid to use, the only difference is updated content referring to GDPR compliance but that each book is no less compliant that the other.More Information

Stress is a major cause of sickness absence in the workplace and costs over £5 billion a year in Great Britain. It affects individuals, their families and colleagues by impacting on their health but it also impacts on employers with costs relating to sickness absence, replacement staff, lost production and increased accidents.

This workbook will help your organisation meet its legal duty to assess the risks to its employees from work-related stress and gives advice and practical guidance on how to manage work-related stress. It promotes the Management Standards approach to tackling work-related stress - a systematic approach to implementing an organisational procedure for managing work-related stress.
