The adventures of NAPO 2001 16 minutes A series of sketches based on a number of amusing sketches involving the main character, NAPO. It show how accidents can be prevented and highlights the importance of not taking risks. This film introduces NAPO and his uncanny ability to fall foul of hazards at work. A series of amusing sketches see him getting into various scrapes, testing the patience of his long-suffering boss but learning about health and safety as he goes along. Scratch and sniff... chemical risks at work 2002 12 minutes A series of short, comic sketches show Napo working with various chemicals, including those that are irritant, flammable, corrosive, toxic or a danger to the environment.In each case the relevent warning symbol is shown, followed by a sequence in which Napo causes accidents by not using the chemicals safely. At the end of each sketch viewers are shown how the accident could have been prevented by safe working practices. The film will help workers: identify warning symbols correctly understand the risks posed by chemicals at work reduce those risks by improving work practices.
